UNM: Research Services Librarians (3 Positions) Apply by 4/25/2014

University of New Mexico: The College of University Libraries and Learning Sciences (UL&LS) has three openings for (1) Research Services Librarian for the Social Sciences, (2) Research Services Librarian for the Life Sciences, and (3) Research Services Librarian for the Physical Sciences.

Research Service Librarians will proactively build relationships with students, faculty, and staff in the undergraduate and graduate social science and science programs and establish partnerships within the University and beyond. Working in a team-oriented and highly electronic environment, the librarians will serve as the Libraries’ specialists for social sciences, life sciences, or physical sciences.  Research Service Librarians will provide instruction in research and the use of library resources in a variety of settings. They will provide reference services and contribute to collection development. They may teach credit courses for the UL&LS.

These are full-time, 12-month tenure track faculty positions with the rank of Assistant Professor. The desired start date is July 1, 2014. The annual salary is negotiable based on qualifications and includes full benefits.
