The Office of New Mexico Attorney General is conducting two educational workshops in the City of Espanola, on Tuesday, December 13, 2016. Opening Remarks by Attorney General Hector Balderas.
The purpose of the workshops is to educate and assist state offices about their duties as Public Bodies on the importance of transparency and compliance as well as the rights of the public under New Mexico’s Sunshine Laws, the Open Meetings Act and Inspection of Public Records Act. The workshops are provided to educate and clarify questions for interested members of local governments, members of school boards and commissions, and the general public.
