Job Opportunity: State Library Reference & ILLiad Librarian

State LibraryThe New Mexico State Library, a division of the Department of Cultural Affairs, is hiring a Reference & ILLiad Librarian. As part of the Public Services Bureau, this Librarian-Basic position provides basic level information services to library customers. The person in this position must demonstrate initiative and a strong customer service commitment. This position will assist with improvements to the statewide interlibrary borrowing and lending system for small, rural and prison libraries in order to effectively meet the needs of library users in New Mexico. This position also staffs the main reference desk and conducts basic research in order to respond to information requests. This position is a Pay Band 60.

SALARY: $13.83 – $24.06 Hourly / $28,766.40 – $50,044.80 Annually

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree from a program accredited by the American Library Association (or recognized by the appropriate body of another country).
