3D Systems offering free 3D printers to libraries

3D Systems3D Systems and YALSA (Young Adult Library Services Association) are collaborating to bring 3D printers to qualified libraries in an effort to boost the maker movement and grow The MakerLab Club – a brand new community of thousands of U.S. libraries and museums committed to advancing 3D digital literacy via dedicated equipment, staff training and increased public access.

We encourage all New Mexico libraries to apply so that we can continue to develop New Mexico as The Makerstate.

The allocation of printers will be competitive, and the deadline to apply is November 17, 2014. Click here for all of the details from the YALSAblog.
