The Sandia National Laboratories Technical Library provides quality information products and services that support the research needs of the engineers, scientists, and staff of Sandia National Laboratories. Are you interested in moving the discoverability of information forward in new and creative ways? The Sandia Technical Library is looking for an individual who has these interests at heart; as well as an individual who has an interest in the kind of work, products and services that a research library delivers.
Primary Job duties: Consults with internal clients to assess information management needs and provides advice; describes information and relationships in taxonomies, metadata schemas, and ontologies, which may be used for organization, retrieval, or presentation of information; ensures information management and communication tools evolve to meet the users’ changing communication and collaboration requirements; assists with implementing information systems to meet business and user requirements.
