Pew Internet: How Americans Value Public Libraries

According to a new study released by Pew Internet, 63% of Americans believe closing their public library would have a ‘major impact’ on their community.

Based on their own experiences,  94% of Americans who have used a public library would say that “public libraries are welcoming, friendly place.”
