The demand for access to genealogy resources and expertise continues to rise. Across New Mexico, library genealogy collections and staff-knowledge of genealogy services varies widely. The New Mexico State Library (NMSL) is embarking on a project to better understand New Mexico’s diverse genealogy collections and to identify ways that we can assist each other to better serve New Mexico’s genealogy patrons.
Please take a few minutes to fill out our survey. We will use the information to better direct genealogy information requests that come into the NMSL and to guide us as we develop training and consider genealogy collection development with libraries across the state.
