Youth Services Manager
The Octavia Fellin Public Library is looking for a Youth Services Manager with an active and creative imagination who is forward thinking, innovative, and community focused. This positon is responsible for the overall operations of Youth Services, including collection development, reference services, programming, outreach, supervision, and training. Works closely with other city departments, community organizations, and the school districts. Must be knowledgeable of emerging trends in library services to youth and have a clear vision on how to lead the department. Assists with budget preparation and is a member of the management team. Minimum qualifications: ALA accredited Master’s Degree in Library Sciences (MLS/MLIS), two years’ experience in professional library work, a valid Driver’s License (state of residence) and must meet City’s Insurability requirement, and proficient with Microsoft Office.
