The Carrizozo Community Public Library is now recognized by the New Mexico State Library as a developing public library. It officially opened as a public library on January 18, 2019 and becomes the 98th recognized New Mexico public library and the 5th developing public library. Diane Dean is the library director and the community is excited to have such a wonderful resource so close to home!
There is a custom bench outside the entrance made with an old tailgate and a welcoming book tree just inside the entrance.
