2017 CE Forum in Columbus, Ohio

This week I attended the 2017 Continuing Education Forum in Columbus, Ohio. The State Library of Ohio hosted 32 state library agency continuing education coordinators and put on an informative and worthwhile conference. We heard from many knowledgeable speakers, including Miguel Figueroa from the ALA Center For the Future of Libraries.

The State Library of Ohio is located in the Jeffrey Mining Corporate Center which is an old industrial building.

It was renovated to become the State Library of Ohio in 2000.

From the outside, you wouldn’t know what a beautiful library awaits inside.

The State Library of Ohio is celebrating its Bicentennial this year and has several displays showcasing its wonderful history.

It was great to see another State Library in action and meet its wonderful staff.
